MEET CRISTI: Owner of the ButterCup, when Cristi isn’t at the store fronts or shining her light on one of her famous Date @ 8 Live Sales, she enjoys spending time with her nieces, Madeline & Mollie, family & friends, treasure hunting at her favorite antique shops, reading historical fiction, and supporting other local small businesses.
FAVORITE FASHION TREND/STYLE: Cristi loves many things about fashion, but her favorite looks include, a great pair of jeans, a white top & a great pair of shoes, but she also really loves a good little black dress.
It brings Cristi great joy to share all of the things she loves with others, it’s very much her love language ensuring you eat good food, drink good drinks, while looking & feeling amazing doing it all!
An expression of all the places Cristi has lived, the ButterCup is more than its unique & inclusive fashion items, accessories & goods. It’s a place of authenticity, kindness, and love. It is this way because of the culture Cristi has created, making each and every one of us feel beautiful, important, loved, and safe from the moment we step in the door.

MEET SARAH: Sarah grew up in Shenandoah County, is a graduate of Central High School & later Shepherd University where she met her husband Charlie, together they have two beautiful daughters Savannah & Madelyn. Sarah’s favorite hobby is any & all things ButterCup. Her favorite thing about the ButterCup is Cristi. She also loves the inclusiveness & love the stores offer. The ButterCup is a place where you feel loved, empowered, and seen. Sarah also loves all of the sweet friends she gets to meet & visit with.
FAVORITE HOLIDAY/SEASON: Valentines Day/ ALL of the seasons because it means new items in the stores!

Miss Bonnie
Our Favorite West Virginia girl. Miss Bonnie has been a customer of the ButterCup since our Opening Day in New Market in 2020.
She became a part of the ButterCup Team shortly there after and we have enjoyed her fashion knowledge and her kind southern hospitality.
Teri Coryell
MEET TERI: Best known as Doey, queen of everything, Cristi’s Momma & a big time lover of all things ButterCup! She was born in Duluth, Minnesota & has lived in 8 different states in the nearly 50 years her & Papa have been married.
FAVORITE ANIMAL: Otis, (of course)
FAVORITE HOLIDAY/SEASON: Christmas/Fall
FAVORITE COLORS: Red, Black & White
Her favorite fashion trends throughout history are classic looks from the late 50s & early 60s (think Jackie O).
A constant companion to Cristi, Doey welcomes all to the ButterCup with open arms & spreads love to every customer as if they were her own family!

MEET GREG: Best known as Papa, born in Peoria, Illinois, Papa is the Manager of Shipping & Receiving, and Cristi’s Dad! Papa met Doey in 1970 while they were in college in Michigan, his favorite things at the ButterCup are Cristi & Doey. 😉
